Easter weekend we went down to Oma's. Alexandra has been there for a whole week and it was time to pick her up, plus Daddy entered a pizza eating contest at our favorite pizza place in Cocoa Beach. He was determined that he was going to win the contest. The pizza pie is 30 inches and consists of 8 slices. The winner last year was able to eat 4 slices in 8 mins. Now keep in mind, that does not sound hard, but it is a 30inch pizza.
So Robert was in the second "heat" - it is a surfing town. We watched the first round and let me tell you, I will never look at pizza the same again. It was so gross - people were dunking the pizza in water to help it go down. Nasty! Now Robert was up, on your mark, get set, go. Robert was about 1 slice into it when he started to feel sick He was able to finish 2 3/4 slices - not bad. The kid that won this year
finished 4 slices and was probably 18 yrs old, max. Good Job Daddy!
